NDAHA Player Development Teams

NDAHA Fields three categories of teams that play game and tournament schedules in addition to the Player Development Camp programs:

NPHL Fall Program- The Northern Plains Hockey League (NPHL) is a program of USA Hockey Registered teams. Boys teams in the U14 and U16 teams are assembled from a tryout process from across the state.  Girls teams are selected from a tryout process and compete in the U16 and U19 age categories.

Both boys and girls NDAHA teams play teams from Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin  and Canada in a fall season prior to youth or High School Hockey seasons beginning.

Team North Dakota Showcase Team - These teams are assembled by tryout process for highly talented High School age boys and girls that wish to demonstrate their talent at the Minnesota Showcase event in April of each year. Teams attend from across the United States. This event is highly attened by coaches and scouts from D1/D3 and Junior teams. 

National Teams - NDAHA may elect to sanction a team that meets the critera established by USA Hockey, may be eligible to compete in the USA Hockey National Tournament held in the spring of each year at the completion of the winter youth and high school programs.
